CHARLOTTESVILLE The No. 21 Virginia men’s soccer team will travel to No. 1 Wake Forest for a Friday night Atlantic Coast Conference matchup. Kick-off from C. Dennie Spry Soccer Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C., is 8 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Fox Soccer Channel, with Mark Rogondino and Keith Tabatznik calling the action.

The Cavaliers are coming off of a 4-1 road loss at Maryland last weekend. Yannick Reyering scored his ACC-leading 13th goal of the season to notch UVa’s lone score of the match. Virginia is 10-5-2 overall, 1-4-2 in the ACC, and is looking to close out the conference schedule with its first road win.

Wake Forest (14-1-2, 5-1-1 ACC), meanwhile, has won seven of its last eight games and boasts the nation’s top scoring offense (2.81 goals per game).

Virginia leads the all-time series with Wake Forest, 30-4-5, but the Demon Deacons have won the last two meetings. At last year’s ACC Tournament, Wake Forest defeated the Cavaliers on penalty kicks following a 1-1 tie.

Following Friday’s regular-season finale, seedings and pairings for the 2007 ACC Tournament will be announced on Monday.
