Virginia Continues Action At Rainbow Wahine Classic Saturday Against Minnesota

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Virginia (3-2) takes on Minnesota Saturday at 8:20 p.m. in the semifinals of the Rainbow Wahine Classic on the campus of University of Hawaii. The Cavaliers defeated No. 21/22 Texas, 86-83, in the first round behind 22 points and 10 rebounds from Aisha Mohammed.

It will be the fourth meeting between Virginia and Minnesota. The Cavaliers trail in the series, 0-3, including a 2005 NCAA Tournament loss to the Gophers. The last meeting was a Nov. 26, 2005, 69-65, Gopher victory.

The winner of Virginia vs. Minnesota takes on the winner of Hartford vs. Hawaii.
