Hey everyone from beautiful <?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>Hawaii! This is Sharne Zoll writing to you from Honolulu.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

Right now I’m sitting in the hotel with my roommate, Paulisha Kellum, who played a great game against a well-coached, hard-nosed Texas team. This game was unique because there wasn’t one single person who stepped up – everyone contributed something to the win. We played hard and we played well but we still have two games to win looking for our first championship.

We’re looking forward to a physical battle tomorrow against Minnesota, a team that I haven’t beaten since arriving at Virginia. My first year we lost to them in the second round of the NCAA Tournament so I’m really excited to get out on the floor and hopefully get a win.

Overall, Hawaii has been phenomenal. The weather is great, it’s about 80 degrees every day and the people are showing a lot of hospitality. The shopping is great and we have been doing a lot of team bonding at the shops!

All of us on the team are looking forward to a big football win over Virginia Tech tomorrow! We are rooting for the guys and hopefully both our teams will get a victory for UVa.

Thanks for checking in, and I’d like to send my love to my Mom and Dad. Go Hoos!

Sharne
