CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. The Virginia wrestling team returns to the home mat at Memorial Gymnasium Saturday, playing host to a double dual beginning at 1 p.m. The Cavaliers face off with Newberry at 1 p.m. and Campbell at 7 p.m. The Indians and Camels will wrestle at 4 p.m. Admission to all three matches is free.

Virginia (14-4, 1-1 ACC) has four wrestlers ranked nationally this week, including Chris Henrich (Fr., Lansdale, Pa.), who earned his first career rankings with a No. 19 mark at 174 pounds from InterMat and No. 20 from W.I.N. Henrich has won 11-consecutive matches and has not lost since Dec. 30 at the Southern Scuffle.

Rocco Caponi (Jr., Uniontown, Ohio) stands No. 12 at 184, while Brent Jones (So., Burke, Va.) and Eric Albright (Jr., York, Pa.) are ranked No. 20 at 197 and 133, respectively.

Newberry (12-6) is ranked No. 10 nationally in Division II after going 4-1 at the East Coast Duals last weekend, including victories over No. 8 Pitt-Johnstown and No. 12 Mercyhurst. The Indians have three wrestlers ranked in the top 10 of the respective weight classes.

Campbell (1-13-1) lost to NC State, 25-12, Wednesday night. The Fighting Camels wrestle against The Apprentice School in Newport News, Va., Friday night before coming to Charlottesville.

The Newberry match will mark the programs’ first-ever meeting. Virginia and Campbell have met just one time, a 39-9 UVa win on Dec. 10, 1989.

Virginia returns to ACC action Feb. 10, battling NC State and Duke in Durham, N.C.
