Fewer Than 200 Tickets Remain for Sunday Game vs. Wake Forest

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. Fewer than 200 general admission tickets remain for the Virginia baseball team’s game with Wake Forest at Davenport Field at 1 p.m. Sunday.
The stadium’s capacity is 3,300 and fans planning to attend the game are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. General admission tickets are for seating in the grandstand, on the hill along the left field line and in the left field bleachers. General admission seating is claimed on a first come, first served basis. Gates to the stadium open at 11 a.m.
General admission tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for youth (18 and under) and senior citizens (60 and older). A limited number of reserved seat tickets may be available for $9 beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday if reserved seat season ticket holders return tickets for that game.
Sunday is Little League Day at Davenport Field. As a result of the demand, reduced price tickets for Little League players in uniform are no longer available.
Virginia’s three-game series with Wake Forest begins at 6 p.m. tonight. Game two of the series is at 6 p.m. Saturday. With warm weather and large crowds expected, fans also are encouraged to purchase tickets for both of those games in advance.
Tickets for all Virginia home baseball games may be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com and by telephone or in person through the Virginia athletics ticket office. The ticket office is located in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium and may be reached by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
