A New Cavalier Kid's Club: Cavman's Crew Debuts

CHARLOTTESVILLE The Virginia athletics department announced today changes to its Cavalier Kid’s Club program, now known as “Cavman’s Crew.” Cavman’s Crew features free membership and seven complimentary admissions to select UVa sporting events. Each member of Cavman’s Crew also receives a free t-shirt, is eligible to win prizes at designated events and take part in exclusive, interactive experiences.
Cavman’s Crew is open to youth in eighth grade and under. Each member receives a ticket book containing seven (7) complimentary general admission tickets, valid at the following 2008-2009 athletics events:
Men’s Soccer
Hofstra, Sunday, Sept. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
Central Connecticut State, Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7:00 p.m.
Liberty, Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
Longwood, Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 7:00 p.m.
American, Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7:00 p.m.
Women’s Soccer
Loyola, Friday, Aug. 22 at 7:00 p.m.
Liberty, Friday, Aug. 29 at 6:00 p.m.
VCU, Sunday, Aug. 31 at 6:00 p.m.
William & Mary, Friday, Sept. 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Dartmouth, Sunday, Sept. 14 at 2:00 p.m.
NC State, Thursday, Oct. 2 at 7:00 p.m.
Boston College, Sunday, Oct. 19 at 1:00 p.m.
North Carolina, Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Duke, Thursday, Oct. 30 at 7:00 p.m.
Wake Forest, Sunday, Nov. 2 at 2:00 p.m.
Women’s Basketball
Specific games will be determined once the 2008-2009 schedule is released.
Baseball
All home non-conference games.
Men’s Lacrosse and Women’s Lacrosse
Specific games will be determined once the 2008-2009 schedules are released.
Members of Cavman’s Crew will be able to present one of the seven ticket vouchers for a discounted ticket at one of several men’s basketball games to be determined once the 2008-2009 schedule is released.
Members of Cavman’s Crew also receive a birthday card from Cavman, are eligible to win prizes at select events, and are invited to special meet and greet sessions with Virginia student-athletes. Members may also be selected to participate in starting lineup introductions, throw a first pitch at a baseball game, or be a ball boy or ball girl at home basketball games.
