Changes Involving Two Games Made To UVa Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLEThe Virginia men’s basketball team’s games with VMI and Boston College at the John Paul Jones Arena during the 2008-09 season will be televised and the starting time for the season-opener with the Keydets has changed.

The season-opener with VMI on Nov. 16 is now scheduled for 4 p.m. and will be televised by Comcast SportsNet. The VMI game was originally scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. The game with Boston College on Feb. 4 will be televised by ESPNU and is still scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

The Atlantic Coast Conference recently released an updated conference schedule that included the changes for Virginia’s games with VMI and Boston College. When the UVa schedule was released last month, there was no television designation for the Cavaliers’ games with those opponents.
