CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. Ryan Hurley, a fifth-year senior on the Virginia men’s swimming team, was tabbed the Atlantic Coast Conference performer of the week, the league office announced Tuesday.

Hurley, a native of Potomac, Md., helped lead the Cavaliers to a pair of wins over conference teams North Carolina and Duke in dual meets over the weekend. He claimed the 100 and 200 breaststroke races against the Tar Heels on Saturday and Blue Devils on Sunday and was additionally a member of the winning 200 medley relay teams on both days.

Hurley was additionally honored as one of eight seniors on Sunday in the team’s final home meet of the season.

Virginia will compete it is final dual meet of the year Sunday at Pittsburgh. The meet is scheduled for noon.
