CHARLOTTESVILLE – Season and Family Day ticket packages and single game tickets for the 2009 men’s and women’s soccer seasons are now on sale. Tickets may be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com by clicking here, and may also be purchased by phone at (800) 542-8821 or in person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance to avoid long lines at the ticket booth on game days.

The all-soccer season ticket package, which includes all 21 men’s and women’s regular-season home games and three exhibitions, is available. Prices are $140 (reserved), $80 (adult general admission) and $50 (youth, senior, faculty/staff general admission).

The men’s soccer season ticket package includes all 11 regular-season home games in addition to two exhibition games. Prices are $90 (reserved), $60 (adult general admission) and $35 (youth, senior, faculty/staff general admission). The women’s soccer season ticket package includes all 10 regular-season games plus one exhibition. Prices are $50 (reserved), $40 (adult general admission) and $25 (youth, senior, faculty/staff general admission).

The Family Day package offers four tickets, four hot dogs and four 22-ounce soft drinks for just $32. Family day packages are available for the following games: men’s soccer vs. Duke (Sept. 11), Clemson (Sept. 26), Boston College (Oct. 25) and NC State (Nov. 7) and women’s soccer vs. Hofstra (Aug. 30), Seton Hall (Sept. 13), American (Sept. 20), Clemson (Sept. 27) and Miami (Nov. 1).

Single game tickets to men’s and women’s soccer games are also available for $9 (adult reserved), $7 (adult general admission) and $5 (youth, senior, faculty/staff general admission).

On Tuesday and Thursday game days, fans may purchase $2 hot dogs and $2 small sodas at Klöckner Stadium.

Women’s soccer kicks off its home schedule on Friday, Aug. 28, against Liberty at 7 p.m., following a home exhibition on Sunday, Aug. 16, vs. Georgetown at 7 p.m.

Men’s soccer begins its home schedule on Friday, Sept. 11, vs. Duke at 8 p.m., following two home exhibitions on Friday, Aug. 21 (George Mason, 7 p.m.) and Saturday, Aug. 29 (West Virginia, 7 p.m.).
