Season Tickets

You won’t want to miss a minute of the action this year! With the return of team leaders Monica Wright and Paulisha Kellum and the #5 recruiting class in the nation, the Cavaliers will face off against the top teams in college basketball, including Tennessee, Maryland, Purdue and North Carolina!

Season tickets include all 17 2009-10 regular season games at John Paul Jones Arena, and will be available for purchase beginning August 28th.

2008-09 season ticket holders will be mailed a ticket application offering the opportunity to renew their season ticket and parking orders for the 2009-10 season. Orders from renewing season ticket holders must be received by the September 22nd priority deadline to renew their same seats and parking locations for the upcoming season.

Season tickets may be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com by clicking here. Season tickets may also be purchased by phone at (800) 542-8821 or in person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Single Game Tickets

General Admission Youth (18 & Under) $5 General Admission Seniors (60 & Over) $5 General Admission Faculty/Staff * $5

* Limit 2 discounted tickets per active faculty/staff member when presenting a valid UVa. ID at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall or the John Paul Jones Arena box office.

Single game tickets will be available in advance of the game through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office and John Paul Jones Arena box office beginning October 26th. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance of game day, as advance purchase guarantees admission to the game and allows fans to reach their seat more quickly. All fans 24 months and over must have a ticket to enter John Paul Jones Arena for athletic events.

Game Days: Monday Friday, 9 am to 3 hours prior to game time.

JPJ Arena Box Office John Paul Jones Arena Main Entrance

Non-Game Days: Monday Friday, 10 am to 2 pm

Game Days: Monday Friday, 10 am until 2 pm; box office will reopen 90 minutes prior to the game and closes with 10 minutes remaining in the 2nd half; Saturday Sunday, 90 minutes prior to game time until 10 minutes remain in 2nd half.

Group Tickets

Virginia women’s basketball group tickets are the perfect way for family, friends, co-workers, youth sports teams, church groups, companies and civic groups to enjoy a fun group outing!

Tickets for groups of 20 or more are just $5.00 each for Reserved seating and $4.00 per person for General Admission seating, subject to availability. Either way, groups booking in advance save over 40% off the regular game day price!

To qualify for group discounts, fans must purchase group tickets in advance of the game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-UVA1. All groups will see their name in lights on the Hoo Vision video board at John Paul Jones Arena.

Parking

Reserved season parking passes offering a specific reserved space in the John Paul Jones Arena garage will be available for purchase beginning August 28th. The cost is $50. Reserved parking spaces will be assigned in Virginia Athletics Foundation priority point order.

Free single-game parking within the surface lot in front of the John Paul Jones Arena main entrance is available on a first-come, first-served basis for all games this season. Accessible parking in the surface lot located adjacent to the parking garage and arena is also available for free on a first-come, first-served basis with a valid, state-issued handicapped license plate or placard.

General Information

Order Confirmation and Processing of Payment/Refunds

Orders placed via VirginiaSports.com will receive immediate confirmation. For mail or phone orders, your credit card statement or cancelled check will serve as your confirmation. The processing of your payment, however, does not constitute final acceptance of your order. Should demand exceed supply for any tickets ordered, you will receive timely notification and a refund will be processed for the price of the tickets ordered. Refunds of unfilled orders will be made by a Commonwealth of Virginia check if purchased by check; otherwise, for credit card orders, a credit will be issued to your credit card account.

Delivery of Tickets:

Season tickets will be mailed in late October. Single-game tickets will be mailed no later than ten (10) days prior to the game. Orders placed within seven (7) days of the event will only have Print At Home and will call as delivery options; to ensure that tickets are received, mail is not a delivery option that close to the event.

Address Changes:

In order to insure the proper mailing of season tickets, it is your responsibility to inform the Athletics Ticket Office of any changes in your address by September 25th. You may manage your account information online at VirginiaSports.com by clicking here.

Priority:

Orders from Virginia Athletics Foundation donors meeting specified deadlines are prioritized according to their priority points as established by the Virginia Athletics Foundation. General public orders are prioritized on a date-received basis.

Customer Numbers:

To receive full priority, ticket orders and all correspondence with the Athletics Ticket Office should include your customer number and be made in the same name as previous orders. If you donate to the Virginia Athletics Foundation in a different name, please make note of it. Online orders should be made by signing in to your correct customer account and not by creating a new account.

Game Times/Dates:

Game times and dates are subject to change. Refunds will not be provided because a game time has changed.

Admission Policies:

Any fan having reached their second birthday requires a ticket to enter the John Paul Jones Arena for athletics events. Virginia maintains a no re-entry policy at all basketball games.
