The No. 12 men’s squad is currently undefeated as it has won the Lou Onesty and Panorama Farms Invitationals at home (upsetting No. 11 Syracuse for the Panorama Farms title), in addition to the George Mason Invitational. The No. 11 women’s team won the Lou Onesty and George Mason titles, while finishing runner-up to No. 2 Villanova at the Panorama Farms Invitational. Both teams are currently preparing for the ACC Championships set for Saturday, Oct. 31 in Cary, N.C.

10/28 – Growing up on the track in high school, all I wanted was to be a part of a team: being best friends with my teammates and spending time bonding, training and carefully crafting our success as one unit, together. I wanted to win races and reach my individual potential, for sure, but I craved that sense of wholeness within that group of cross country teammates, knowing that when I lined up beside them, they would be there for me and with me every step we raced. Q&A: Graham Tribble
A key performer on the Cavaliers’ back-to-back ACC Cross Country Championship teams, senior Graham Tribble earned his first-ever All-Southeast Region honors at the regional championships last season – helping the men to a runner-up finish. Q&A: Sean Keveren
Sean Keveren is a redshirt freshman on Virginia’s cross country team that won the Lou Onesty Invitational at Panorama Farms last weekend. In his first race wearing a Virginia uniform, Keveren was the second Cavalier to finish, and fourth overall, clocking in at 25:13.4. This past August, the Brentwood, Tenn., native competed on the track in the 5k at the Pan American Junior Championships in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, finishing second with a personal-best time of 14:14.46. Q&A: Lauretta Dezubay
Senior Lauretta Dezubay was the Cavaliers’ top finisher in four meets last season, including winning two individual titles – the Lou Onesty and George Mason Invitationals. In a season in which Virginia’s cross country program had to adjust to a new head coach, the women won its first-ever Southeast Region title and advanced automatically to the NCAA Championships – finishing 26th overall.
