Charlottesville, VA – The Cavalier Sports Weekly television show will air during its normal time slots on WCAV CBS 19, WVAW ABC 16, and WAHU FOX 27 in the Charlottesville area on Sunday, Dec. 20 and Monday, Dec. 21. However, due to satellite issues related to the winter storm in the Charlottesville area, the latest edition will not air on Comcast SportsNet on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 9:30 a.m. Instead, the Dec. 13 program will air in its place. Comcast SportsNet will air the Dec. 20 edition on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 4 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Jordan Evans, a fourth year member of the national championship men’s soccer team, is the host of this week’s show. The program features highlights from the men’s soccer championship game and a profile of the team’s starting defensive unit. The show also includes a women’s basketball update with head coach Debbie Ryan and a festive holiday segment with members of the men’s basketball team. A look back at some of the best plays in Virginia athletics from 2009 will close the program.

The programming schedule for this week’s edition of Cavalier Sports Weekly is as follows:

Sunday, 10:30 a.m. ABC16 (Charlottesville)

Sunday, 11:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. CBS19 (Charlottesville)

Monday, 6:30 p.m. FOX 27 (Charlottesville)

*Comcast SportsNet (Mid-Atlantic) will air the Dec. 13 edition on Dec. 20 at 9:30 a.m.

The Dec. 20 edition will air Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 4 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 26 at 10:30 a.m. on Comcast SportsNet.
