CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia Sports Radio Network experienced several technical difficulties during the postgame show following the broadcast of the Virginia men’s basketball team’s win over UAB on Wednesday, Dec. 30. The technical issues resulted in fans missing the opportunity to hear UVa head coach Tony Bennett’s comments after the game.

“I apologize to all Virginia fans for the broadcast issues we experienced last night ,” said David Jessey, general manager of Virginia Sports Properties. “Virginia Sports Properties appreciates the importance of hearing from Coach Bennett and providing our fans a first-rate broadcast. We have implemented a plan to address the issues that occurred last night. I assure you Coach Bennett will be live on the Virginia Sports Radio Network during the postgame show of all future broadcasts.”

The Farm Bureau Insurance Coaches Corner with head men’s basketball coach Tony Bennett airs across the Virginia Sports Network on Monday, Jan. 4, from 7:06 – 8:00 p.m. Due to a conflict with the women’s basketball game against St. Bonaventure, Monday’s show can be heard in Charlottesville on AM 1450 WVAX. Each show this season will be broadcast live from Chili’s in front of the Seminole Square Shopping Center along Route 29 North in Charlottesville.
