Members of the Virginia softball team – both student-athletes and coaches – will be revealing 20 random facts about themselves to VirginiaSports.com each weekday leading up to the team’s season-opener this Saturday at the Elon Tournament in Elon, N.C. Up next is catcher Alison Pittman, who hails from Newburg, Pa.

1. I enjoy birdwatching.

2. My ultimate dream job is to be a motivational speaker for troubled youth.

3. I have five siblings and my sisters, Liz and Liana, are my BEST friends.

4. I’ve never owned an iPod, MP3, etc…

5. I have never broken a bone in my life.

6. I am addicted to ESPN’s SportsCenter.

7. I don’t like dogs and never plan on having one as a pet.

8. I sleep with an elephant named Sammy that was given to me by my boyfriend!

9. I hate being cold because I have very poor circulation.

10. I have contracted random diseases like kidney stones and shingles…

11. I grew up eating deer meat with EVERYTHING.

12. I always fall asleep lying on my right shoulder.

13. I am very corny and love reading and reciting inspirational quotes from famous people.

14. I am very obsessive about keeping the bathroom sinks, tub, and toilet clean…thanks mom!

15. I love country music and CMT.

16. If I could only pick one food on earth to eat, it would be cereal and milk.

17. I hate taking medicine including Tylenol, Advil, etc.

18. In elementary school I never had to “pull a ticket” for bad behavior.

19. I was voted the 2007 Homecoming Queen my senior year of high school.

20. I am still in a relationship with my high school sweetheart! Long distance relationships are possible!
