April 11 Game vs. Georgia Tech Moved to Noon Start

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia Baseball’s April 11 game against Georgia Tech at Davenport Field, originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. start, now will begin at noon.

Because of ACC travel policy, no new inning will be permitted to start after 4 p.m. on that Sunday. Moving the game to noon will give the teams the best opportunity to complete a nine-inning contest.

Tickets for the 2010 season remain available at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office. Customers may purchase tickets by logging on to VirginiaSports.com, calling (800) 542-UVA1 or by visiting the ticket office in Bryant Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets will also be sold at the Davenport Field ticket windows beginning two hours prior to each home game.
