CHARLOTTESVILLE – The 2009 NCAA Champion Virginia men’s soccer team will be in action on Saturday, April 3, in Richmond, Va. The Cavaliers will take on the defending United Soccer Leagues (USL) Second Division Champion Richmond Kickers in a Pro-Am Challenge. Kick-off is 4 p.m. at the University of Richmond Stadium.

General admission tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for youth. Tickets can be purchased online at RichmondKickers.com.

The Cavaliers finished the 2009 season on a 16-game unbeaten streak and claimed the NCAA Championship with a 3-2 penalty kick shootout win over Akron in the title game. Virginia finished with a 19-3-3 overall record after also claiming the ACC Tournament title.

The Richmond Kickers captured their own title as USL-2 Champions in 2009.
