Charlottesville, VA — The 12th-ranked Virginia women’s golf team plays in the 13th annual Bryan National Collegiate at the par-72, 6,323-yard Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center in Browns Summit, N.C. starting Friday, April 2. The 54-hole event runs through Sunday. Wake Forest and UNC Greensboro are the co-hosts of the tournament.

The Cavalier lineup includes Whitney Neuhauser, Lauren Greenlief, Nicole Agnello, Brittany Altomare and Calle Nielson. Carly Truitt will compete as a non-scoring individual. Virginia is paired with UNC Greensboro and Northwestern during the opening round. Those teams will start at 9:05 a.m. from the first tee.

A total of 14 of the 18 teams in the field are ranked in the top-50 of the latest Golfstat Ratings. The field for the tournament includes No. 34 Arkansas, No. 2 Auburn, College of Charleston, No 4 Duke, No. 30 Florida State, No. 17 LSU, No. 25 Louisville, No. 41 Northwestern, No. 28 North Carolina, NC State, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, No. 16 Ohio State, No. 27 South Carolina, No. 15 Tennessee, No. 19 Vanderbilt and No. 10 Wake Forest.

Last year Virginia finished second at the tournament, four shots behind LSU. Calle Nielson and Jennie Arseneault tied for sixth as the Cavaliers’ top finishers.

The tournament is UVa’s final regular season event before competing at the ACC Championships April 16-18 in Greensboro.
