CHARLOTTESVILLE — The No. 34 Virginia women’s tennis team returns home for the first time in over a month as it hosts a pair of top-five foes this weekend at the Snyder Tennis Center. The Cavaliers host top-ranked North Carolina Friday at 2 p.m. and No. 5 Duke, the reigning NCAA Champion, on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Cavaliers (10-5, 3-2 ACC) recently concluded a five-match roadtrip through the month of March and haven’t played at home since sweeping a doubleheader from Maryland and Old Dominion on Feb. 28. The Tar Heels (17-3, 4-0 ACC) and Blue Devils (15-2, 3-0 ACC) are two of the three teams who enter the weekend unbeaten in conference play.

Admission to all Virginia home tennis matches is free. Livestats for both of this weekend’s matches will be available on VirginiaSports.com
