CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – As of 5 p.m. on Friday, more than 4,100 tickets have been pre-sold for Saturday’s lacrosse game between No. 1 Virginia and No. 5 Duke at Klockner Stadium. The game is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance to secure entrance into the stadium. Capacity of Klöckner Stadium is 8,000. Admissions are being held for students similar to what is done for football, men’s basketball, and baseball games. Once the stadium’s capacity is reached, ticket sales and student admissions will end. 



Tickets may be ordered online at VirginiaSports.com until noon on Saturday. Tickets will go on sale at the entrance of Klöckner Stadium beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Fans who need to pick up tickets at Will Call are encouraged to do so early to avoid long lines. Will Call will also open to the public at 2 p.m.

Single-game tickets to lacrosse games are $7 (adult general admission), and $5 (youth, senior, faculty/staff general admission). All reserved seats are sold out for the 2010 season.

Parking will be available in the University Hall, Cage and John Paul Jones Arena lots as well as the Emmet-Ivy Garage. Fans should be aware that parking in the University Hall lot is expected to be limited until the conclusion of the Virginia baseball game against Virginia Tech. That game starts at 4 p.m.

The first 4,000 fans that enter the stadium will receive a complimentary rally towel.

The game will be broadcast in the Charlottesville area on WINA AM 1070 and with a V Pass subscription at VirginiaSports.com. John Freeman is calling the action and Doug Tarring will be doing the color broadcast. ESPNU will televise the contest in HD with Carter Blackburn providing the play-by-play, along with Paul Carcaterra serving as the color analyst. Live stats will be available at VirginiaSports.com.
