CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Ticket books for potential NCAA Baseball Regional and Super Regional tournaments at Davenport Field will go on sale through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office online at VirginiaSports.com Friday, May 7 at 5 p.m. Regional all-session ticket books will be sold for $60 for reserved seating and $45 for general admission seating, while Super Regional all-session ticket books may be purchased for $36 for reserved seating and $24 for general admission seating.

All 2010 Virginia baseball season ticket holders may purchase reserved ticket books through the May 21 priority-seating deadline. The general public may purchase general admission ticket books and if reserved ticket books remain after the priority deadline, they will be sold to the public beginning Wednesday, May 26.

Beginning Monday, May 10, tickets may be purchased in person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium, by calling (800) 542-8821 or by visiting VirginiaSports.com.

The 16 NCAA Regional sites will be announced Sunday, May 30. The NCAA tournament selection show is slated for Monday, May 31 and will be televised by ESPN starting at 12:30 p.m. The eight Super Regional sites will be announced following the completion of regional play.

Tickets are required to be held for the visiting teams for both the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. Therefore, not all season ticket seating locations are available to be purchased. All season ticket holders may order the same number of seats as they held during the regular season. The Virginia Athletics Ticket Office will make every effort to place postseason tickets as close as possible to season ticket holders’ regular season seat location. Seating for any additional reserved seats ordered by season ticket holders will be seated first in Virginia Athletics Foundation priority point order, followed by the date on which the order is received. Orders for additional reserved seat tickets will not be located next to existing season ticket locations.

In the event reserved seat tickets are unavailable at the time of seating, orders will be filled with general admission tickets unless otherwise noted. 2010 Virginia baseball season ticket holders will only be charged if Virginia is announced as a tournament host for the Regional and Super Regional games.

Non-season ticket holders’ credit cards will be charged at the time of purchase. If Virginia is not selected to host a postseason tournament round, all customers will receive a full refund of their ticket balance for that round.

UVa students must purchase tickets for admission to both the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. Students may purchase general admission tickets for $45 for Regional ticket books and $24 for Super Regional ticket books.

Season ticket holders purchasing postseason tournament books in grandstand seating locations must commit to the purchase of tickets for both the Regional and Super Regional rounds. Ticket books for other seating areas, including general admission, may be purchased on a round-by-round basis.

Customers ordering postseason all-session ticket books by Friday, May 28 may choose to have the tickets mailed to the address provided. After that date, tickets may be picked up at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall or at Davenport Field Will Call on game day.

Paid parking is in effect for both the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. Parking vouchers for all four days of Regional competition is $15 if purchased in advance. Meanwhile, parking vouchers for all three days of the Super Regional are $10 in advance. The charge to park on game day is $5 per day.

All sections of the grandstand (Sec. 101-109) and the first base bleachers (Sec. A-F) are considered reserved seating for both the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. General admission seating is located on the grassy hillside down the left-field line, and in the bleachers beyond the outfield wall in both left and right field. Standing room is also available for general admission ticket buyers.

Single session tickets for the Regional will go on sale to the public on Friday, June 4 at 9 a.m. if they are available. Single session tickets will be $12 for reserved seats and $8 for general admission seating. Any remaining single-game tickets for the Super Regional will go on sale on the first day of super regional competition at 9 a.m. Super Regional single game tickets will be $16 for reserved seating and $12 for general admission seating.
