CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia-VMI baseball game, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Davenport Field, has been cancelled because of poor field conditions caused by heavy rain over the past two days. The game will not be rescheduled.

Since this is the last regular-season game, the following ticketing policy is in effect. All fans who already have purchased tickets or will purchase ticket books to the NCAA Regional or Super Regional will have the value for their VMI tickets credited toward their regional or super regional tournament ticket book purchase.

All remaining ticket buyers for this game will receive a refund. Checks will be mailed to the address on the ticket buyer’s customer account. Refund checks will be processed after June 15.

Regional all-session ticket books are currently on sale for $60 for reserved seating and $45 for general admission seating, while Super Regional all-session ticket books may be purchased for $36 for reserved seating and $24 for general admission seating.

All 2010 Virginia baseball season ticket holders may purchase reserved ticket books through the May 21 priority-seating deadline. The general public may purchase general admission ticket books and if reserved ticket books remain after the priority deadline, they will be sold to the public beginning Wednesday, May 26.
