Virginia Releases 2010 Cross Country Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia announced on Monday its 2010 schedule for the men’s and women’s cross country teams. The fall season features three home meets at Panorama Farms, in addition to the ACC Championships, NCAA Regional Championships and NCAA Championships.

The Cavaliers will begin the year at home, running in the Lou Onesty Alumni Open on Friday, Sept. 10. The first road trip follows on Oct. 1, when Virginia heads to the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa.

The second-annual Panorama Farms Invitational will take place on Oct. 15 and will prepare the Cavaliers for the ACC Championships, being held at Boston College on Oct. 30.

Following the conference meet, Virginia will return home to close out the regular season with the annual Cavalier Invitational on Nov. 5.

The NCAA Regional Championships will be held in Louisville, Ky., on Nov. 13, while the NCAA Championships are set for Monday, Nov. 22 in Terre Haute, Ind.
