Cavalier Countdown to Kickoff to Air This Weekend

Charlottesville, VA — This weekend the Official Flagship Stations of Virginia Athletics at the Charlottesville Newsplex (WCAV CBS19, WVAW ABC16, and WAHU FOX27), will broadcast “Cavalier Countdown to Kickoff.” The-30 minute special program will be shown throughout this weekend (August 28 and 29) on all three stations, and features a detailed preview of the Cavalier football team’s upcoming season.

The sports team at the Charlottesville Newsplex provides in-depth previews, exclusive interviews with players and coaches, as well as a look at the new members of the coaching staff.

The program includes one-on-one interviews with head coach Mike London and the Voice of the Cavaliers, Dave Koehn.

Cavalier Countdown to Kickoff airs this weekend at the following times:
WCAV CBS19: Saturday at 7:00 pm, Sunday at 11:00 am
WVAW ABC16: Saturday at 12:30 pm, Sunday at 1:00 pm
WAHU FOX27: Saturday at 2:00pm, Sunday at 10:30 am
