Vail, CO – The 11th-ranked Virginia women’s golf team enters Tuesday’s final round of play at the Golfweek Conference Challenge in third place. The Cavaliers shot 303 during Monday’s second round for a two-day total of 590. UC Davis leads the 18-team field at 587 while fourth-ranked Arizona is in second place at 588.

Virginia sophomore Brittany Altomare is in second place after 36 holes of stroke play at 2-under 142. She trails UNLV’s Therese Koelbaek by three shots in the hunt for medalist honors.

UVa’s Lauren Greenlief is tied for fifth at 145 following a second round 75. Calle Nielson dropped back to 25th at 151 after shooting 79. Nicole Agnello is 27th at 152 and Eleana Collins is 51st at 156.
