LOS ANGELES – The Virginia women’s tennis team posted another doubles win at the ITA All-American Championships on Friday at the Riviera Country Club.

The Cavalier team of Lindsey Hardenbergh (Fairfax Station, Va.) and Erin Vierra (Norwell, Mass.) won their first round consolation match 8-3 over Hilary Bartlett and Taylor Marable of Princeton. They meet Nadja Gilchrist and Lilly Kimbell of Georgia in the second round of consolation play on Saturday.

Emily Fraser (Rye, N.Y.) and Hana Tomljanovic (Boca Raton, Fla.) had their run in the main draw of doubles come to an end on Friday in the second round. The duo lost 8-6 to reigning NCAA Champions Hilary Barte and Lindsay Burdette of Stanford in the round of 16.

Play continues Saturday and runs through Sunday at the Riviera Country Club.
