Charlottesville, VA – The 25th-ranked Virginia men’s golf team travels to Jonesboro, Tenn. this week for the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at The Ridges. The tournament will begin on Friday morning and will run through Sunday afternoon, with 18-holes being played each day. The tournament is being held at The Ridges Golf and Country Club.

This year’s field includes four of the top-35 teams in the country. The group features No. 24 Wake Forest, No. 25 Virginia, No. 29 Michigan, and No. 35 Kent State, along with Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Chattanooga, Missouri, Coastal Carolina, UNC Wilmington, Louisville, Denver, and the hosts ETSU.

Last year Virginia placed third with a score of 863, two shots behind co-champions Tennessee and Oregon State. UVa’s Ben Kohles was fifth overall at 2-under 214.

Kohles will be joined at this year’s event by teammates Will Collins, Amory Davis, Ben Rusch and Bruce Woodall.

The tournament will begin on Friday with each player starting on hole number one. Play will begin at 8:30 a.m. Live scoring for the tournament will be available at Golfstat.com.
