CHARLOTTESVILLE – The reigning NCAA Champion Virginia rowing team begins fall competition on Sunday (Oct. 24) when it travels to the Head of the Charles regatta in Boston, Mass. Virginia will enter four crews into two races – the Championship Eights and the Championship Fours.

Virginia’s Championship Eights entries will race at approximately 3:09 p.m. on Saturday, while the Championship Fours will race at 2:40 p.m. A live webcast is available here.

The Head of the Charles is the world’s largest two-day rowing event and attracts up to 300,000 spectators during the weekend.

Virginia also has an Alumni Eight competing on Saturday (Oct. 23).
