This past weekend ended the first half of ACC play and we look forward to finishing our season strong in the second half of the season. Now that we have played each team once, we will be even more confident in playing them again since we will know more about them.

We first headed to NC State where we took care of business in four games and proved that we were mentally tough enough to overcome the rowdy NC State crowd. Although we won, we weren’t completely satisfied with our play and we knew we would have to step it up against North Carolina.

We woke up Saturday morning feeling very confident and excited to take on North Carolina. We have yet to play our best as a team and we felt that this night was time to do so. Although we ended up losing we proved to ourselves that we are good enough to beat any team in our conference and that it all comes down to us believing in one another and playing like we do everyday in practice.

We have four practices this week to get ready for Miami and Florida State at home. We are excited to get another chance to play these teams and hopefully beat them this time around.
