CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The third-ranked Virginia field hockey team (14-2, 2-2 ACC) closes the regular season with a 1 p.m. matchup Saturday at No. 18 Duke. Live stats will be linked on VirginiaSports.com.

The Cavaliers have won three straight with victories over William & Mary (3-0), Wake Forest (4-1) and Radford (8-0) last week. Freshman Elly Buckley had four goals and two assists in the win Sunday against the Highlanders on senior day.

Junior Paige Selenski leads UVa with 22 goals and seven assists for 51 points on the year. Buckley paces the Cavaliers with a team-high 10 assists, while also contributing 13 scores. Sophomore Tara Puffenberger adds eight goals and six assists.

Defensively, senior goalkeeper Kim Kastuk boasts a 1.27 goals against average and a .827 save percentage in the cage.

Duke is 8-9 on the year and winless (0-4) in the ACC. The Blue Devils last played at Penn State last Saturday, a 2-1 loss to the then-No. 11 Nittany Lions.

Freshman Emmie LeMarchand, a native of England, leads the Duke offense this season with eight goals and three assists for 19 points. In goal, senior Samantha Nelson has a 1.33 GAA and a .733 save percentage.

Virginia leads the all-time series with Duke, 27-15. The Cavaliers have claimed the last four meetings between the two teams, including both games in 2009. UVa won the regular season finale 2-1 before taking the ACC Tournament quarterfinal game, 3-1. Both contests were held in Charlottesville.
