COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Virginia juniors Rachel Jennings and Paige Selenski were named to the 2010 NCAA Field Hockey All-Tournament Team, announced Sunday at the conclusion of the championship.

No. 3 Virginia defeated Michigan State in overtime 3-2 and Princeton 4-2 to advance to its second consecutive NCAA semifinals. The Cavaliers ended their season with a 4-3 overtime loss to second-seeded North Carolina on Friday.

Top-ranked Maryland went on to defeat the Tar Heels 3-2 in overtime to claim the national championship.

Selenski (Shavertown, Pa.) notched four goals and one assist during the NCAA Tournament, including her fourth career hat trick in the semifinal loss to UNC. Jennings (Macungie, Pa.) was named to the squad after contributing as a member of the Cavalier defense.

Virginia concluded the 2010 campaign with an 18-4 record.
