CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Peter Krawczyk has been named operations assistant for the UVa men’s lacrosse team, as announced by head coach Dom Starsia. Krawczyk’s responsibilities will include coordinating team travel, meals and camps, as well as helping with the day-to-day operation of the men’s lacrosse office.

“The administration of college athletics is not getting any easier with the increased TV exposure, working with compliance and all the other things that come to us on a daily basis,” said Starsia. “It’s been great to have somebody that can help us with the details of running a Division I lacrosse program. Peter is familiar with our University and our program. He was a great manager for us and we look forward to his contribution in this new position.”

The Vienna, Va., native enters his second season with the men’s lacrosse program after serving as a team manager during his fourth-year at the University. Krawczyk is a 2010 graduate of UVa with a degree in religious studies.

Krawczyk is a former lacrosse player at Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C., also the alma mater of former UVa All-American lacrosse player Billy Glading.
