CHARLOTTESVILLE – The No. 11 Virginia women’s tennis team returns to action this weekend as it plays a pair of ACC matches. The Cavaliers host No. 40 Boston College Friday afternoon at 1 p.m., before visiting No. 34 Maryland on Sunday at noon.

The Cavaliers (12-2, 1-0) are off to the best start in school history. They haven’t played since a 7-0 win over Virginia Tech on Mar. 6. Friday’s match against the Eagles is slated for the Snyder Tennis Center and would be the first home outdoor match of the season for Virginia. The Cavaliers are 7-1 at home this season.

Sunday’s match at Maryland is the first ACC road match of the season for the Cavaliers.

Admission to all home Virginia tennis matches is free.
