CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.
– Because of the threat of inclement weather on Sunday (March 27), game three of the Virginia-Maryland baseball series has been rescheduled. Originally slated to start at 1 p.m. Sunday, the game has been moved to Saturday (March 26). It will start approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game, which is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

Game one of the three-game series is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday (March 25).

Separate tickets are required for each of the games on Saturday. Fans with tickets to both games are asked to bring both tickets to the game. Following the first game Saturday, fans with Reserved tickets in section 101-109 will be asked to walk to the grandstand concourse to have their Sunday game ticket checked. Fans in General Admission seating will be asked to exit to the left- and right-field corners to have their Saturday Game 2 / Sunday game tickets checked.

Fans with General Admission tickets for the Sunday game may: (a) exchange their ticket in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm., or (b) bring their ticket stubs to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, including the Saturday Maryland games, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

There will be free hot chocolate and coffee all weekend. The Sunday autograph session and running of the bases has been cancelled.

ACC game-management protocol stresses that every effort should be made to complete all three games in a conference series. With a high probability for inclement weather on Sunday, this change will give the teams the best opportunity to complete the series.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for all athletics events to avoid lines at the facilities’ ticket windows. Tickets can be ordered by phone at (800) 542-8821 and online at VirginiaSports.com. Advance ticket sales online end four hours prior to each game.

General Admission seating is available in the left- and right-field bleachers as well as the grass hillside and the bleachers located along the right-field line. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and older) and faculty/staff (limit two per faculty/staff).

Reserved tickets, if available, are $10 for adults and $6 for UVa faculty/staff, and will be sold beginning two hours prior to the game at the Davenport Field ticket windows. General Admission ticket holders may also upgrade to Reserved seating for $4 per ticket, subject to availability.
