Joe Rehder
Academic Coordinator
In 2011 Joe Rehder joined the academic affairs staff at Virginia as an academic coordinator. Rehder previously worked as an academic advisor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where he advised the men’s basketball program.

Rehder will work with the Cavalier men’s and women’s golf teams in addition to wrestling and women’s soccer programs.

His previous work experience includes a year at NC State as an assistant academic coordinator. He assisted in monitoring the academic progress for the Wolfpack’s football, baseball, wrestling, volleyball and gymnastics teams.

Rehder graduated from the State University of New York College at Cortland in 2007. He earned his master’s of science degree from Marshall University in 2008. While at Marshall he worked as a graduate assistant in the Thundering Herd’s compliance department and as an advising assistant and tutor in the Buck Harless Student Athlete program.
