CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Because of the threat for inclement weather this weekend, the schedule for the Virginia-Duke baseball series has been altered. The game on Friday night (April 15) game has been moved up one hour to 6 p.m. The Saturday game (April 16) has been shifted to Sunday (April 17) as part of a 1 p.m. doubleheader.

ACC game-management protocol stresses that every effort should be made to complete all three games in a conference series. With a high probability for inclement weather on Friday night and Saturday, these changes will give the teams the best opportunity to complete the series.

Tickets for the Saturday game will be valid for the second game Sunday, which will start at approximately 4 p.m. (30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game). Fans with tickets for game two on Sunday will not be admitted to the stadium until the conclusion of the 1 p.m. game.

Separate tickets are required for each of the games on Sunday. Fans with tickets to both games are asked to bring both tickets to the game. Following the first game Sunday, fans with Reserved tickets in section 101-109 will be asked to walk to the grandstand concourse to have their other game ticket checked. Fans in General Admission seating will be asked to exit to the left- and right-field corners to have the tickets for the Saturday game checked.

Fans with tickets for the games on Friday and/or Saturday who are unable to attend because of the day and time changes may: (a) exchange their ticket in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm., or (b) bring their ticket stubs to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

Tickets for home Virginia baseball games can be ordered by phone at (800) 542-8821 and online at VirginiaSports.com. Advance ticket sales online end four hours prior to each game.

General Admission seating is available in the left- and right-field bleachers as well as the grass hillside and the bleachers located along the right-field line. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and older) and faculty/staff (limit two per faculty/staff) for home games played on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Reserved tickets, if available, are $10 for adults and $6 for UVa faculty/staff for home games played on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Any available Reserved tickets will be sold beginning two hours prior to the game at the Davenport Field ticket windows. General Admission ticket holders may also upgrade to Reserved seating for $4 per ticket, subject to availability.
