CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Friday night Virginia-NC State game has been postponed because of inclement weather. The teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The ACC’s Regional Sports Networks (Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantic in Charlottesville and the Virginia area) will have the television broadcast of game one Saturday. WINA Radio 1070-AM will carry the first game live, while audio broadcasts for both games will be available at VirginiaSports.com. A live video broadcast of game two also will be streamed on VirginiaSports.com.

Tickets for the Friday game are valid for the second game Saturday, which will start at approximately 4 p.m. (40 minutes following the conclusion of the first game). Fans with tickets for game two on Saturday will not be admitted to the stadium until the conclusion of the 1 p.m. game.

Fans with tickets for the Friday game may (a) bring their ticket stub to the Davenport Field gate for the same seat on the rescheduled or resumed game date, (b) exchange their ticket in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or (c) bring their ticket stubs to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

Separate tickets are required for each of the games on Saturday. Fans with tickets to both games are asked to bring both tickets to the game. Following the first game Saturday, fans with Reserved tickets in section 101-109 will be asked to walk to the grandstand concourse to have their other game ticket checked. Fans in General Admission seating will be asked to exit to the left- and right-field corners to have the tickets for the second game checked.

For fans with tickets for the Friday game, Reserved seat ticket holders may bring their ticket stub to the Davenport Field gate for the same seat for the second game of the Saturday doubleheader. General Admission ticket holders also may bring their ticket to the gate for entry for the second contest Saturday.

ACC game-management protocol stresses that every effort should be made to complete all three games in a conference series. This change will give the teams the best opportunity to complete the series.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for all athletics events to avoid lines at the facilities’ ticket windows. Tickets can be ordered by phone at (800) 542-8821 and online at VirginiaSports.com. Advance ticket sales online end four hours prior to each game.

General Admission seating is available in the left- and right-field bleachers as well as the grass hillside and the bleachers located along the right-field line. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and older) and faculty/staff (limit two per faculty/staff).

Reserved tickets, if available, are $10 for adults and $6 for UVa faculty/staff, and will be sold beginning two hours prior to the game at the Davenport Field ticket windows. General Admission ticket holders may also upgrade to Reserved seating for $4 per ticket, subject to availability.
