CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -The Virginia softball team (23-30, 5-14 ACC) earned the No. 8 seed in the 2011 Atlantic Coast Conference Softball Championship and will face top-seeded Georgia Tech at 5 p.m. Friday at Mewborn Field in Atlanta, Ga.
