CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia-High Point baseball game, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Davenport Field, has been cancelled because of field conditions and the forecast for additional inclement weather in Charlottesville throughout the day on Tuesday. The game will not be rescheduled.

Since this is the last regular-season game, the following ticketing policy is in effect. Fans who already have purchased tickets or will purchase ticket books to the NCAA Regional or Super Regional will have the value of their High Point tickets credited toward their regional or super regional tournament ticket book purchase.

All remaining ticket buyers for this game will receive a refund. Checks will be mailed to the address on the ticket buyer’s customer account. Refund checks will be processed after June 15.

Regional all-session ticket books are currently on sale for $60 for reserved seating and $45 for general admission seating, while Super Regional all-session ticket books may be purchased for $36 for reserved seating and $24 for general admission seating.

All 2011 Virginia baseball season ticket holders may purchase reserved ticket books through the May 18 priority-seating deadline. If reserved ticket books remain available after the priority deadline, they will be sold to the general public beginning Wednesday, May 25.
