Sarah Conrad
Academic Coordinator Sarah Conrad joined the Virginia athletics department as an academic coordinator in 2011. She works with the women’s rowing program, providing counseling and monitoring academic progress. She is also responsible for the tutoring program for student-athletes.

Conrad worked at Penn as an academic coordinator for a year before joining the staff at UVa. She assisted 11 Quaker teams, coordinated the New Student-Athlete Orientation program and managed the Collegiate Academic Achievement Program.

From 2008 until 2010 she was the assistant to the athletic director for student-athlete services at North Central College as part of the NCAA DIII Ethnic Minority and Women’s Grant program. She has also served as an intern at Northwestern in its academic services area.

Conrad has worked for the Orlando Magic and served as the assistant director for camps for Sports Outreach, a non-profit youth sports camp.

She earned her undergraduate degrees in kinesiology and business/communications from Wheaton College in 2006. She completed her master’s degree in sports administration from Northwestern in 2009. She was a member of the Wheaton rowing team as a coxswain from 2002 to 2004.
