Charlottesville, VA – Single-game ticket sales for six of Virginia’s seven 2011 home football games begin Friday, July 22 at 9 a.m. online at VirginiaSports.com. Fans can purchase tickets in-person or by telephone beginning Monday, July 25 at 9 a.m.

Tickets to Virginia’s home game against Virginia Tech on Nov. 26 are not available as part of this sale, but are included with the purchase of a full season ticket package and as part of two three-game mini-packages.

Single-game tickets for 2011 home Virginia football games are offered at five price levels. Tickets to the games against William & Mary (Sept. 3), Southern Miss (Sept. 24) and Idaho (Oct. 1) are available for $18, $21, $25, $35, and $45. Tickets to the ACC home games against Georgia Tech (Oct. 15 – Homecomings), NC State (Oct. 22) and Duke (Nov. 12) are available for $24, $27, $32, $45, and $55.

Family packages are offered for $72 or $84 for the games with William & Mary, Southern Miss and Idaho, and for $96 or $108 for the Cavaliers’ game against Duke. The family package includes four upper level end zone tickets, four hot dogs and four 22-ounce Pepsi soft drinks.

The Cavalier and Wahoo three-game mini-packages are on sale now and both include tickets to Virginia’s home game against Virginia Tech on Nov. 26. The Cavalier Package includes tickets to the games against William & Mary, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech, while the Wahoo Package includes the match-ups with Southern Miss and NC State in addition to the game against Virginia Tech. Both the Cavalier and Wahoo packages are available at three price levels: $110, $135, and $150.

Season tickets remain on sale at four price levels: $125, $145, $175, and $270 for all seven 2011 Virginia football home games. There are $99 options for UVa faculty and staff and UVa young alumni.

Virginia’s 2011 season opener against William & Mary will kickoff at 6 p.m. The Cavaliers’ game at Indiana on Sept. 10 will begin at 7 p.m. ET and UVa’s game at North Carolina on Sept. 17 will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. Start times for the remainder of UVa’s 2011 schedule will be announced later.

Fans can purchase single-game tickets online at VirginiaSports.com starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 22. In-person or telephone purchases begin Monday, July 25 at 9 a.m. by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821) or in-person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.
