CHARLOTTESVILLE — Treat Huey reached a new career high of No. 81 in the ATP Doubles Rankings this week after winning the title at the Bogota Challenger last week in Colombia.

Treat Huey teamed with former Old Dominion All-American Izak van der Merwe to win the doubles title in Bogota. It was Huey’s fifth ATP Challenger Tour doubles title of the year and his 10th career Challenger title. His No. 81 ATP Doubles Ranking is the highest ever for a Virginia player.

The next two weeks Huey will reunite with Somdev Devvarman to play doubles on he ATP Tour. This week they are in the field for the Atlanta Tennis Championship and will play the Farmer Classic in Los Angeles next week.
