Brightwell and Rosen Move into Lead at Collegiate Team Championship

Dahlonega, GA – Virginia’s duo of Elizabeth Brightwell and Portland Rosen are tied for first place following the second round of competition at the second annual Women’s Collegiate Team Championships at Achasta, By Reynolds. Using a best ball format during the second round, the duo shot 8-under 64 for a two-day total of 11-under 133. Brightwell carded a 67 on her own ball during the round.

Also tied for first place are Marina Alex and Lauren Stratton of Vanderbilt and Lindsey Solberg and Carolina Powers of Michigan State.

The final round of the three-day tournament is set for Thursday. A total of 54 teams are competing during the event. Live scoring is at Golfstat.com.
