• The victory was UVa’s first in program history on the road at a Big 10 school
• UVa won its first road opener since beating Syracuse in 2005
• UVa is now 43-74-3 all-time in road openers
• UVa won its first non-conference road game since beating Middle Tennessee in 2007
• UVa won its first road game since beating Maryland in 2009
• UVa now has a three-game winning streak against the Big 10, with two of those wins coming against Indiana
• UVa won its first-ever game in the state of Indiana
• Robert Randolph’s 23-yard field goal as time expired was the senior’s first game-winning FG of his career
• Randolph tied a career high with four made field goals, tying the mark he set last week against William & Mary
• UVa is now 6-11 all-time against members of the Big 10
• Matt Conrath blocked his second career field goal in the first quarter and his first since his freshman season in 2008 versus Richmond
• Conrath’s FG block was the first by a UVa player since the 2010 finale at Virginia Tech when Nick Jenkins caught a piece of a FG attempt
• Chase Minnifield recorded his first career solo sack in the first quarter. He recorded a half a sack against Miami in 2010
• TE Jeremiah Mathis made his first career start
• CB Rijo Walker’s INT to start of the third quarter was the first of his career
• UVa game up a TD for the first time this season in the third quarter, going 95:56 without allowing an opponent in the endzone
• QB Michael Rocco was sacked in the third quarter for the first time in his career – it was his 70th drop back of his career
• Rocco at 19 years of age becomes the youngest UVa QB to win his first two career starts in records dating back to the 1939 season
• Perry Jones’ fourth quarter TD was the second rushing score of his career and first of the season
• Paul Freedman’s reception on the successful two-point conversion was UVa’s first since facing TCU in 2009
