CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia women’s tennis team continued play at the UVa Fall Invitational on Saturday at the Snyder Tennis Center. The Cavaliers will have two players competing for singles flight titles and one doubles team competing for a flight title on Sunday.

The Flight A singles, Erin Vierra (Norwell, Mass.) advanced to the final, defeating teammate Li Xi (Kunming, China) 6-7, 6-0, 6-2. She will play Joelle Kissell of NC State in final. In Flight B, Molly O’Koniewski (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) reached the final with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 win over Sandra Herrera of Winthrop. She will play Daria Yakauleva of VCU in the final, who topped Maria Fuccillo (Rockville, Md.) in the other semifinal.

In doubles, the team O’Koniewski and Caryssa Peretz (Cherry Hill, N.J.) advanced to the finals of Flight B with a semifinal win over Kara Kucin and Sophie Ball of Marshall. They will play Devon Sutherland and Stephanie Falcon of UNC Greensboro in the final.

At the Duke Fab Four Invitational in Cary, N.C., Emily Fraser (Rye, N.Y.) reached the final of her singles flight with a pair of wins on Saturday. She defeated Linda Xepoleas of Purdue 6-2, 6-2 in the quarterfinals and Caroline Price of North Carolina, 6-1, 6-2, in the semifinals. She will play Gabby Mejia of Miami in the final on Sunday. Fraser and Hana Tomljanovic (Boca Raton, Fla.) will play for a flight title in doubles on Sunday, as they meet Courtney McLane and Taylor Lindsey of Alabama in the final.

The UVa Fall Invitational concludes Sunday at the Snyder Tennis Center with play beginning at 9 a.m. Admission is free.
