Nashville, TN – The seventh-ranked Virginia women’s golf team shot 2-under 286 Saturday to move up seven spots to fifth place after 36 holes of play at the Mason Rudolph Fall Preview. The Cavaliers enter Sunday’s final round tied with Duke at 590. UCLA leads the 18-team field at 579.

Nicole Agnello led the Cavaliers Saturday with a career-best round of 4-under 68. She jumped up to 15th in stroke play at 2-over 146. Brittany Altomare shot 2-under 70 and is in eighth place at 1-over 145. Portland Rosen shot 73 and is 24th at 147. Elizabeth Brightwell is in 70th place at 156 and Lauren Greenlief is 81st at 159. Greenlief shot 75 during the second round while Brightwell carded a 79.
