CHARLOTTESVILLE – Two five-game ticket mini-packages for the 2011-12 Virginia men’s basketball season go on sale Monday, Oct. 3. Mini-packages are available in the upper level of John Paul Jones Arena and cost $65, $90, $110 or $145 depending on seat location. The Wahoo mini-package features UVa’s match-ups with Michigan (Tuesday, Nov. 29), Clemson (Tuesday, Jan. 31), Wake Forest (Wednesday, Feb. 8), North Carolina (Saturday, Feb. 25) and Florida State (Thursday, March 1).

The Weekend mini-package includes Virginia’s games against South Carolina State (Sunday, Nov. 13), Green Bay (Friday, Nov. 25), Miami (Saturday, Jan. 7), Virginia Tech (Sunday, Jan. 22) and Maryland (Saturday, Feb. 18).

A Select-A-Seat event is scheduled at John Paul Jones Arena on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Fans can purchase mini-packages in advance at the Select-A-Seat and receive a free hot dog and soda. The men’s basketball team will be practicing on the main arena floor during the morning session of this event. Free parking will be available in the arena’s main lot on Saturday.

Season tickets are also on sale for Virginia’s 16-game home schedule. Season tickets are available in the upper level of John Paul Jones Arena and provide the best value. Prices are $150, $200, $320 and $405 for season tickets. UVa faculty and staff are eligible to receive a 20 percent discount and there is also a $120 young alumni season ticket option for 2007-2011 Virginia graduates.

Fans can purchase mini-package tickets online at starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3. In-person or telephone purchases also begin Oct. 3 at 9 a.m. by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821) or in-person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.
