Wilmington, NC – The Virginia women’s golf team shot 24-over 312 and moved up to 13th place after the second round of play at The Landfall Tradition taking place in Wilmington, N.C. The Cavaliers’ 36-hole score stands at 633. Purdue leads the tournament at 607, two shots ahead of Auburn.

Playing in blustery conditions, Brittany Altomare posted UVa’s best second round score, shooting 4-over 76. She is in 26th place at 156. Nicole Agnello continues to top the Cavaliers on the leaderboard. She shot 79 and is in 16th place at 154. Portland Rose posted a score of 78 and is in 73rd place at 163. Elizabeth Brightwell is one stroke behind her in 76th place. Kaira Martin shot 79 Saturday and is 81st at 166.

Auburn’s Victoria Trapani leads the tournament at 1-over 145. She owns a three shot lead over Purdue’s Paula Reto.

Sunday’s final round will start at 8:45 a.m. with a shotgun start. Live scoring is online at Golfstat.com.
