CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Sophomore field hockey player Elly Buckley (Perth, Australia) was a repeat selection to the 2011 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Team, announced Wednesday by the league office.

Buckley was also named to the squad as a freshman in 2010, one of three UVa selections a year ago.

Buckley paces the Virginia attack this season as the team leader in goals (15), assists (nine), points (39) and shots (61). She also has five multi-goal games on the year. Among ACC players, Buckley is tied for third in both goals and assists and ranks fourth in points and fifth in shots.

Sixth-seeded Virginia (8-11, 1-4 ACC) will face third-seeded Duke (11-6, 2-3 ACC) for the second time in five days Thursday in the first round of the ACC Championship. The game will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will be webcasted on www.theACC.com from College Park, Md.
