China Crosby To Miss Remainder of 2011-12 Season With Injury

CHARLOTTESVILLE – Virginia junior guard China Crosby (New York, N.Y.) will miss the remainder of the 2011-12 season, head coach Joanne Boyle announced Thursday (Jan. 5). Crosby underwent surgery on Wednesday (Jan. 4) to surgically reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her left knee.

Crosby started 12 games this season and averaged 7.9 points and 2.3 assists per game.
