Virginia Men's Basketball Team to Travel to Europe in August

CHARLOTTESVILLE-The Virginia men’s basketball team will play a minimum of four games on a trip to the Netherlands, Belgium and France in August. The Cavaliers are scheduled to leave on August 6 and return on August 16.

UVa will play club/professional teams on the trip. The trip is scheduled to begin in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and end in Paris, France. The Cavaliers are allowed 10 practices prior to departing for Europe.

Virginia compiled a 3-3 record on a trip to Belgium and France in August of 1996 and UVa was 5-1 on a trip to Germany, Belgium and France in August of 2000.
